A single space can now be divided into up to 30 small zones, capable of recognising up to five individuals (Multi-person Detection). The sensor can also interact with various smart home devices through ecosystems like Apple HomeKit, expanding its range of applications. It includes features such as human fall recognition and a built-in light sensor, making it a versatile companion capable of harmonising with the diverse aspects of your home life and enabling personalised automation.

•    Zone Positioning: The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 outperforms conventional PIR infrared motion sensors by utilising a single radar sensor to monitor rooms of approximately 430 square feet (about 40 square metres)2. What's more, you have the flexibility to divide this area into up to 30 zones, such as a sofa, bed, or desktop. Each of these zones can be individually configured for custom automations. It's as if you were effectively using multiple PIR motion sensors concurrently with just one Aqara FP2 Presence Sensor.

The detection range is in the shape of a circle with a 2-meter radius, and the fall detection accuracy exceeds 98%. It's recommended to install the sensor at a height between 2.5 meters to 2.8 meters.
•    Built-in Light Sensor: Having a fully functional light detection sensor in the Aqara ecosystem makes lighting automation more versatile and enjoyable. The integrated light sensor also enables advanced home automation based on the level of illumination.
•    Local Automation & Flexible Installation: Once the setup is finished, the product operates locally. FP2's automations will continue to function as expected, even if there is occasional Wi-Fi network instability. It also offers several installation methods.
•    IPX5 and Hidden USB-C Port: Due to its IP rating, the sensor can be installed in humid5 environments such as bathrooms. The sensor features an open USB-C port, which allows you to replace the included cable with any USB-C compatible one, increasing its placement flexibility.
