Warranty Terms
While our outdoor smart locks are engineered and rated to IP65 standards for weather resistance, this rating is intended for general outdoor conditions (rain, sun, and dust) and does not guarantee performance under extreme weather exposure such as driving rain, hailstorms, constant salt spray, flooding, or immersion.
In unusually harsh environments, additional protection is strongly recommended. For full weatherproofing, consider one of the following:

Install a rain cover or protective hood over the lock to shield it from direct weather impact or driving rain.

Use a higher ingress protection IP68-rated model (e.g. FEDBHDH1UA) that is better suited for extreme moisture, submersion, or severe environmental conditions.
Customers should understand the limitations of the product’s capability and apply appropriate care according to their specific installation environment.

Damage caused by excessive rain, water ingress, flooding, or other liquid exposure beyond IP65 protection levels is not covered under warranty.

General wear and tear is not covered by warranty.
Minor changes such as light colour fading, surface dulling, or minor oxidation may occur naturally over time due to extended UV exposure, humidity, and temperature fluctuations. These effects are considered normal ageing characteristics of outdoor products, even though we apply the best industry practices in surface treatment and paint finishing to maximise durability.

- Mortise with 30mm backset: 57mm
- Mortise with 35mm backset: 62mm
- Mortise with 40mm backset: 67mm
- Mortise with 45mm backset: 72mm
- Mortise with 50mm backset: 77mm
- Mortise with 60mm backset: 87mm
Faceplate Dimensions: 284 (H) x 54 (W) mm

These measurements identify the feasibility of replacing an existing lock.

Door Thickness
The most common door thickness in Australia is 35-38mm.
Some doors may have a 40mm or above thickness.
Backset
The distance from the keyhole to the edge of the door.
The most common backset in Australia is 60mm.
Maximum Lock Stile
The distance between the edge of the door to any glass or art inlays.
Ignore this if your door is completely a flat panel.
Faceplate Dimensions
The physical size of the lock on the door surface.
Pay attention to this if you are replacing your existing lock or want to cover an unpainted surface.
It is much easier to replace a smaller faceplate with a larger faceplate.
